Refund & Return Policy
At Wani Cakes, we take great care in preparing and shipping our products. Because our cakes are perishable and handmade in small batches, we’ve outlined the following policies to ensure clarity, fairness, and food safety for all customers.
Order Issues, Damages, or Errors
Please review your order immediately upon delivery. If you notice any of the following:

Damage during transit

Quality concerns

Incorrect or missing items
You must contact us within 24 hours of delivery at cakes@wanicakes.com so we can promptly assess the issue and determine next steps.
Required Documentation
To help us properly review your claim, we may request clear photos of:

The outer shipping box
-
Inner packaging (insulation and ice packs)
-
The product (top view)
-
The product (bottom view)
Important:

Do not discard the product or packaging.

Do not refuse delivery before contacting us.

Once items or packaging are discarded—or if delivery is refused—we are unable to offer compensation.

For food safety reasons, compensation cannot be provided for products that have already been consumed. If you notice an issue, please stop consumption immediately and contact us.
Because our products are perishable, timely communication is essential. If we request additional information and do not receive it within 24 hours, we may be unable to proceed with compensation.
For orders marked as “delivered” but not received, you must notify us the same day. Additional details are available in our Shipping Policy.
Returns
Due to the perishable nature of our cakes and food safety regulations, returns are not accepted. Once food items leave our facility, they cannot be resold or re-shipped.
Shipping Considerations
While we work closely with our shipping partners, certain circumstances are beyond our control. As a result, we are unable to offer refunds or replacements for orders that are:

Lost or missing after being marked as delivered

Delayed due to carrier issues or external circumstances
We are also unable to provide refunds or replacements for orders delivered to incorrect or undeliverable addresses, including:

Missing apartment or suite numbers

Incorrect street address or recipient name

Inaccessible buildings

No one available to receive the package

PO boxes
Delivery dates are not guaranteed. While we provide ship-out dates, carriers do not guarantee specific delivery days or times.
Once a package is delivered, we cannot be responsible for items left unattended. Please plan accordingly, especially given variable delivery schedules.
Cancellations & Order Changes
All sales are final once an order is placed. Therefore:

Orders cannot be canceled after submission

Delivery addresses cannot be changed once fulfillment has begun
If you believe a change may be needed, please contact us as soon as possible at cakes@wanicakes.com, and we’ll let you know if adjustments are still possible.
Refunds
All sales are final. Refunds are not offered, except where required by law or at our discretion following a timely and fully documented review of an order issue.
